Terms of service
Last Updated: 28th June, 2026
Welcome to Geniuslambs. This website (www.geniuslambs.com) is operated by Geniuslambs. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Geniuslambs. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user (including both C-end retail consumers and B2B wholesale/custom clients), conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website.
1. Online Store & Eligibility Terms
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
You may not use our ceramic products or snacks for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright and food safety laws).
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
2. B2B Wholesale, Low-MOQ Customization, & Pro-Forma Invoice (PI)
<p>For clients utilizing our one-stop B2B wholesale and bespoke branding services, the following special conditions apply:
Quotations & Pro-Forma Invoices (PI): All wholesale prices provided via our Wholesale Inquiry Form, email, or formal PI are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance due to fluctuations in raw ceramic clay materials, kiln energy costs, and international freight rates.
Custom Branding Deposits: For all custom logo stamping (bottom stamps), custom glazes, and bespoke packaging boxes, a non-refundable deposit (typically 30% to 50% of the total order value, specified in your contract) is required before production begins. Once production starts, this deposit cannot be refunded if the client cancels the project.
B2B Order Cancellations: Custom-branded or proprietary mold items cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged after production has entered the kiln firing stage, as these items cannot be resold.
3. Ceramic Product Characteristics: Natural Kiln Variance & Wabi-Sabi Aesthetics
By purchasing from our signature Wabi-Sabi Stoneware and Reactive Glaze collections, you acknowledge and agree to the inherent nature of artisanal ceramics:
Reactive Glaze & Color Variance: Because our high-temperature reactive glazes respond uniquely to the heat inside the kilns (exceeding 1280°C), minor variations in color tone, speckle distribution, and surface texture are natural, expected, and considered part of the artisanal charm. These organic variations do not constitute product defects or quality issues.
Dimensional Tolerance: Due to clay shrinkage during the firing and vitrification process, a minor dimensional tolerance of up to ±3% in size (e.g., our 8-inch soup plates) and weight is commercially standard and accepted.
4. Accuracy of Billing, Shipping, and Trading Terms (FOB / DDP)
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.
International Trading Terms: For wholesale freight, shipments are executed under the agreed Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, or DDP) specified in the official Pro-Forma Invoice. If DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is selected, we assume responsibility for customs clearance, duties, and local taxes. For standard retail shipping, buyers are responsible for any applicable import tariffs levied by their destination country.
5. Intellectual Property & Custom Branding Copyrights
Our Content: All graphics, website layouts, photography (including our lifestyle banner shots), text, and product descriptions on this site are the intellectual property of Geniuslambs and are protected by international copyright laws.
Client Logos & Intellectual Property: When you submit vector files or logos for custom ceramic stamping, you warrant that you own the intellectual property rights or possess legal authorization to use said branding. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Geniuslambs against any third-party trademark infringement claims arising from your custom logo requests.
6. Third-Party Tools, Multi-Language, and Multi-Currency Apps
We utilize trusted third-party applications integrated into our Shopify store—including **Shopify Translate & Adapt** for multi-language display (e.g., English, Japanese, French) and secure multi-currency processing. We are not responsible for any typographical errors, conversion discrepancies, or browser-rendering glitches caused by third-party translation tools or currency exchange feeds.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR / Guangdong Province, China, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from B2B wholesale transactions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
